heyhey. long time no see (i seem to have not much other opening phrase haha..)
so fast, my one wk midterm is ending le. rather, now being 3.35am, it has ENDED =S
aniw, been chionging many reports due this week, including
BioBiz 6 pg proposal and
Biz Law 1000wds report. and last min suddenly got FM group assignment due Sun (4th march) noon, and i dun even have my textbk coz i onli brought back acctg n blaw books. i was reali at a lost of wat to do then. lucky my group mates were v nice, and i got thru with
a many strokes of luck haha.
okay work aside. this sat (3rd march) i went to my mum's company dinner for the first time. it was at some chiNA restaurant in Orchard Shopping Centre beside Somerset stn. the service there is actually quite bad..
First, dinner supposed to start at 8pm. but at 8.40, the first dish - Yu Sheng was still not yet ready. when it finally was, my table was the last to be served coz somehow the chefs decided tt they gona take longer to make the last dish. aniw, bcoz ours came last, the waitress was in a rush to finish prepare the yusheng for "lao-ing" as everyone else's yusheng were prepared n ready to be "lao-ed". N lo and behold, in her rush, she knocked over a wine glass on the table n some glass pcs went into the yusheng. so ya, they went to change a new one, and i heard some scolding in the backgrd. and some adults were like saying, Wah, this time reali Huat la. LoL.
2nd. i tried to change my drink after my first glass of fresh orange juice. so i asked the waitress what soft drinks they had. and she told me: Erm, we have apple, watermelon, honeydew n many other juices. then, i stunned. my mum had to ask what else they hav besides Coke.. eventually i got what i wanted - 7up.
(but hey. a quick search in wikipedia: "soft drink originally applied to carbonated drinks and non-carbonated drinks made from concentrates, although it now commonly refers to almost any cold drink that does not contain alcohol. Beverages like colas, sparkling water, lemonade, and fruit punch are among the most common types of soft drinks, while hot chocolate, tea, coffee, milk and milkshakes do not fall into this classification.) Interesting. i tot soft drinks onli meant fizzy drinks. oh well. bet u dint noe tt too rite? hee.
aniw to conclude tt experience, lao-ing yu sheng is not bad la. tho i dun quite like to eat it. wonder how we got started w this interesting dish.. for anione interested, go:

On another note. I came to know abt this cheaper-than-usual tix to go aus. convinced my mum to let me go during the hols (big hurdle there) and everything was all n well till the last other hurdle. but sadly, i tripped badly there, and it hurts reali bad.
Had a huge argument w C. First time this had happened. This as in HUGE quarrel, with a CLOSE fren. A very very good fren. come to think of it, i've nv had such a huge arguement w anyone b4. tap cant stop flowing, i cant stop thinking.
BUT one thing is for sure. i dun wan our friendship to end like this. never.
